Scott Gehsmann leads PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Global Capital Markets practice in North America. He has extensive experience advising multinational companies and private equity firms on accounting, M&A, IPO, and SEC registration issues. Scott led the successful SEC registration of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ consulting business. His responsibilities included the preparation of carve out financial statements for a multitude of businesses spread around the globe, and the resolution of all SEC inquiries. He also led the sell-side due diligence process for the $3.5 billion sale of PwC Consulting to IBM. Scott is a frequent lecturer on US accounting and SEC financial reporting requirements.
